The Wentworth-Douglass Physician Corporation, d/b/a Wentworth Health Partners, will bill all participating insurers (those listed above) on your behalf and will also bill all secondary and tertiary insurance plans after your primary plan has made payment. The Wentworth-Douglass Physician Corporation, d/b/a Wentworth Health Partners, will courtesy bill any non-participating insurance one time. Any remaining balance not paid by a non-participating insurance will be your responsibility.
Please refer to our Financial Policy. Co-payments are required at time of service. If you have a previous outstanding balance with any Wentworth-Douglass Physician Corporation (d/b/a Wentworth Health Partners) provider, payment for that balance will also be requested at the time of service. If you do not have insurance, payment will be requested at time of service. All non-insured patients will receive a 10% courtesy discount.
Prompt payment is expected upon receipt of your statement. Failure to meet your financial obligations may result in collection activity and/or may impact your status with our practice. The Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and Wentworth-Douglass Physician Corporation (d/b/a Wentworth Health Partners) work hard to make high quality health care available, affordable and accessible to all, regardless of ability to pay. Our organization offers many financial assistance and referral programs to ensure that cost will not be a barrier to anyone in the community to receive the health care services they need. If payment of your health care expenses could create a financial hardship for you, our practice or Billing staff will work with you to apply for financial assistance. Information you provide is confidential and is only reviewed by the staff processing your application.
Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and the Wentworth-Douglass Physician Corporation (d/b/a Wentworth Health Partners) offer financial assistance to patients with income up to 300% above the national poverty level. There are many factors taken into consideration when determining eligibility. For non-qualifying patients, the hospital or practice may be able to connect you to other resources for which you may qualify. As part of the financial aid application process, you will be assessed for your eligibility for health insurance coverage through federal or state programs such as New Hampshire Medicaid. If it is determined that you qualify, you will be provided assistance with the application process. You will be required to provide financial or medical documentation to secure such insurance coverage.
